Alison is dressed in a robe of
embroidered silk. Her skirt is silk. Other fabrics were used
to finish the costuming. She has beautiful custom build hand-painted
wings modeled after the Mother of Pearl butterfly from Africa.
Linda uses acrylic paint on fabric which is stretched over a sodered
wire frame. The piece comes on the stump shown here. The
doll does come off the stump base to allow for easier shipping. |
